Sunday school

While you can read your Bible at a normal pace, studying requires you to slow down and ask, “What is God saying in this chapter?” Often times, God's meaning in a particular passage might be very different than our own meaning.

It is important to remember that we are to study the Scriptures to seek and know Jesus as our source of eternal life. The power of understanding what the Scriptures say is not for knowledge only but because they testify of Jesus.... We study that we may intimately abide in our relationship with Jesus.

I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways. I will delight in your decrees and not forget your word.  Psalm 119:15-16
